Wholesale & Ordering

How buying from us works

What is your minimum order quantity?

There is no hard MOQ for a first order — we would rather you test the market with a small batch than over-commit. Volume pricing steps start at 20 units per model, and the discount grows from there. Tell us your target market and quantity and we will quote against it.

How do I get a wholesale quote?

Tap Contact Us, fill in the models and quantities you want, and it goes straight to our WhatsApp. You will get pricing, shipping terms and lead time back — usually within one working day.

What is the lead time?

Lead time depends on the model and the quantity, and we confirm it in writing with your quote before you pay anything. Stock models ship in weeks rather than months. Custom colours and OEM builds take longer, because the frames go through a separate paint run.

Do you need a deposit?

Yes — we confirm your order with a deposit and then start production. The balance is settled before shipment. Everything is written into the quote so there is nothing to argue about later.

Can I order a sample first?

Yes. Samples are available on a chargeable basis, so you can put your hands on the build quality, the fold and the finish before you commit to a full order.

Do you do OEM or custom colours?

Tell us what you need — colours, decals, component spec — and we will confirm what is feasible at your volume. Our own lines already run from 14-inch to 20-inch with steel, aluminium and carbon-fork frames, so most requests land inside what we already build.

Which markets do you ship to?

We ship worldwide. Our bikes are already riding in the United States, Canada, the UK, across the EU, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, and we can quote to your port or to your door.

Choosing Your Bike

Picking the right model

What is the difference between a tri-fold and a normal folding bike?

A normal folder hinges once and folds in half, so the wheels stay side by side and the package stays wide. A tri-fold hinges twice: the rear wheel tucks under the frame and the front folds back alongside it, so the wheels nest together. The package comes out roughly a third of the size, and most of our tri-folds stand up on their own once folded.

14-inch, 16-inch or 20-inch — which should I choose?

Smaller wheels fold smaller; bigger wheels ride better. The 14-inch BOB 3-14K is one of the smallest tri-folds made and packs down to about 540 x 270 x 520 mm, but it is best for shorter riders and short hops. The 16-inch models are the balance point and the biggest part of our range. The 20-inch bikes roll over tram rails and rough asphalt that swallow small wheels, at the cost of a bigger folded package.

Steel or aluminium frame?

Steel (4130 chromium-molybdenum) damps road buzz and stays stiff under load — it is what we use on the long-distance and light-gravel models. Aluminium (6061 or magnesium-aluminium) strips weight: the S9 comes in at 8.5 kg complete. If you want the lightest possible carry, go aluminium; if you want the calmest ride, go steel.

Caliper, V-brake or hydraulic disc?

All three, matched to the model. Caliper C-brakes are light, slim and keep the folded package flat — fitted to the R20, S9, Aero, BOB5 and BOB 3-14K. Aluminium V-brakes add bite and suit the R9 Max and R20 Max. ZOOM hydraulic discs with 160 mm stainless rotors are on the D10 and D9K, for the best wet-weather stopping power.

Do you make electric folding bikes?

Our current range is pedal-powered: 3, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 11-speed models. If you are a distributor looking for an e-folding line, tell us — we would rather discuss it properly than guess.

Fit & Sizing

Will it fit you

Which models fit which rider height?

Every model lists a recommended range: BOB 3-14K 125–165 cm; S9, D9K, R9 Max, R20 Max, BOB5 and T9D-349D 140–185 cm; R9 143–186 cm; BOB A6 and Aero 145–185 cm; R20 150–185 cm; D10 and T9D-20D 150–195 cm; MINT Discover 150–200 cm. Taller riders are usually better served by the 20-inch models.

What is the maximum rider weight?

100 kg on the Aero, 110 kg on most of the range (R9 Max, D10, R20, R20 Max, D9K, S9, T9D-20D, T9D-349D, BOB5), 120 kg on the BOB 3-14K and MINT Discover, and 150 kg on the R9. Every one of those figures is a tested rating, not a guess.

Is the seatpost adjustable?

Yes, on every model. Most run a 33.9 mm aluminium post; the S9, BOB5, Aero and T9D-20D use 31.8 mm. The dual-section quick-release head tube on the T9D and BOB ranges adjusts in height too. If you are at the top of a model's height range and want more reach, a longer 31.8 mm or 33.9 mm post is a cheap upgrade.

Folding & Portability

Living with the fold

How long does it take to fold?

Fifteen seconds is a fair average across the range; with practice most people are under ten. Nothing needs tools, no wheel comes off, and no strap is required to hold it shut.

How small does it fold?

The 14-inch BOB 3-14K goes down to about 540 x 270 x 520 mm — roughly carry-on footprint. The 16-inch models land around 580–600 x 300 x 540–630 mm. The 20-inch bikes fold to about 650–700 x 300–350 x 620–720 mm, and the R20 and R20 Max fold to a flat 700 x 620 mm.

Does it roll when folded?

On most models yes. Bearing easy wheels — with an extender on the T9D, D9K, S9, R20 Max and D10 — let you push a folded bike through a station or a lobby instead of carrying it. The BOB 3-14K, BOB5 and MINT Discover also stand unaided once folded.

Can I take it on a train, bus or plane?

A folded tri-fold is the size and shape of a large piece of cabin luggage, which is exactly why the format exists. Rules still vary by operator and route, so check yours before you travel — and a light cover never hurts.

Components & Maintenance

Keeping it running

Can a local bike shop service it?

Yes. Everything we fit is mechanical and standard — Shimano 9-speed groupsets, LTWOO 9-speed and eR9 wireless, ZOOM hydraulic disc brakes, caliper and V-brakes, and CNC chainrings from 45T to 53T. There are no proprietary tools and no single-source parts, so any competent shop can look after one.

What tyres do your bikes run?

KENDA, Schwalbe, CST and INNOVA depending on the model — 16 x 1-3/8 and 16 x 1.25 on the 16-inch bikes, 20 x 1.35, 20 x 1.6 and 20 x 1.95 on the 20-inch ones. Most are widely available, and several models ship on puncture-resistant casings such as the Schwalbe Marathon Plus 5.

How much assembly is needed when it arrives?

Most bikes arrive almost ready — you fit the pedals, straighten the handlebar and check the tyre pressures, which takes about ten minutes. The MINT Discover ships fully assembled. If you are a distributor, tell us if you would rather receive them boxed flat for your own workshop.

Do you supply spare parts and accessories?

Yes. Beyond the bikes we stock accessories across braking systems, drivetrain and gears, wheels and tyres, cockpit and handling, frames and forks, cargo and touring gear, safety and rider gear, and maintenance tools.

Warranty & After-Sales

If something goes wrong

What warranty do you offer?

Our MINT frames carry a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects, and every frame we ship is inspected before it leaves the factory. Wear parts — tyres, brake pads, chains, cables and grips — are consumables and are not covered.

What if my bike arrives damaged?

Message us on WhatsApp with photos as soon as it lands. Transit damage is ours to solve, not yours — we will arrange replacement parts or another resolution. Please keep the packaging until you have checked everything over.

Where do I get service or replacement parts?

Start with us on WhatsApp. Because we fit standard components, most service items can also come from your local bike shop or distributor — which is usually faster than shipping a derailleur across the world.

Shipping, Duties & Returns

Getting it to you

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is quoted per order, because a container to Rotterdam and a single bike air-freighted to Singapore are not the same job. Send us your destination and order size and we will come back with a landed cost.

Who pays import duties and taxes?

Your own customs authority sets them, not us. Tell us your market when you ask for a quote and we will spell out which terms we are quoting on, so there are no surprises at the port.

Can I track my order?

Yes. We handle the logistics and send you tracking so you can follow the shipment to your designated address.

What is your return and cancellation policy?

The full terms are on our Returns & Cancellation page. In practice: tell us as early as you can if something is not right, and we will work through it with you rather than leave you holding a problem.
